Meet the Team

James Coombes
Director of Middle Market Sales

James has 30 years of experience in financing infrastructure.  He specializes in financing development of multifamily and ADU properties.  He also finances solar across a range of industries.   Prior to Ygrene, James was at SunPower.  He is a graduate from the University of California at Berkeley.  He has lectured on project and energy finance at UC San Diego and the University of Tulane.

Richard Gonzalez
Director of Middle Market Sales

Richard has over 28 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate. He has experience in acquisitions, underwriting, debt & equity capital placements, lending and more. Through his background, Richard has provided P&L financial management and extensive third-party market execution. Prior to joining Ygrene Commercial, he was Director of Acquisitions for TowerPoint Capital.

Karen Jenson
Director of Middle Market Sales

Karen has over 20 years of experience in finance and business development and is as passionate about reaching revenue goals and operational targets as she is about improving the world. With her laser sharp focus around mission and vision, Karen thrives at building community, lasting relationships, and working with diverse teams across the non-profit, public, and private sectors.

Ivan Jerskey
Director of Middle Market Sales

Ivan’s experience covers a broad spectrum ranging from financial sales to real estate and credit underwriting for real estate development and investment companies. He holds his Certified Commercial Advisor (CCA) designation, the Financial Modeling and Valuations Analyst (FMVA) and Commercial Banking and Credit Analyst (CBCA) Certifications from the Corporate Finance Institute.

Jeff Klar
Director of Institutional Sales

Jeff serves as Director of Institutional Sales for Ygrene Energy Fund targeting markets in the Southeastern U.S. He is responsible for sourcing new business opportunities and educating his markets about the benefits of C-PACE financing. He has over 12 years of experience in finance and commercial real estate, with a background in underwriting, capital markets, and business development.

Ryan Lowery
Director of Middle Market Sales

Ryan is Director of Middle Market Sales for Ygrene, primarily covering the Southeastern U.S. In this role, he enjoys establishing strong relationships in local commercial real estate markets and providing C-PACE as a valuable commercial real estate financing solution.

Glyn Milburn
Director of Middle Market Sales

Glyn has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and real estate. His background in business development and contract negotiation spans multiple industries. Glyn was previously Ygrene’s Senior Director of Government Affairs where he educated state and local entities about PACE and led expansion across California. Glyn is a graduate of Stanford University and the Kelley School of Business.

Emily Ramey
Director of Middle Market Sales

Emily is one of Ygrene’s earliest employees, having joined the company in March 2015. Her expertise spans across commercial origination, business development, program oversight and government affairs. Before joining Ygrene, Emily worked in the energy/utility sector.



Ryan Moore

Ryan Moore leads Sales, Operations, and Product Development for the Commercial Business at Ygrene. Ryan brings over 15 years of experience in financial services and real estate having managed a wide range of transactions across the globe. Most recently, Ryan worked for WeWork leading real estate advisory and agency leasing across North America. Prior to WeWork, Ryan spent time in Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago advising clients at HSBC, CBRE, and UBS.

Senior Director, Operations & Sales Enablement

Sonya is leading the effort to design and execute scalable processes and programs to support our growing sales team, new products and ultimately commercial customers. She previously was the Senior Director of Digital Product Operations for Universal Parks & Resorts — where she built teams, structures and workflows that maximized productivity for the company’s digital channels.

Andy has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience both on the development and banking sides of the business. Prior to joining Ygrene, he was the Director of Underwriting at Crescit Capital Strategies, a role similar to one he held at Centennial Property Finance where he underwrote a varied portfolio of transitional real estate loans.

Ryan is responsible for new market expansion for Commercial PACE originations at Ygrene. He brings over 12 years of experience in commercial project development and financing. For the last six years, Ryan has originated/managed in excess of 1500 CPACE projects totaling $200MM+.

Derek joined Ygrene in 2013 and heads up our commercial sales team across the country. In the 15 plus years before joining Ygrene, he led sales organizations in the technology, finance, and energy effciency industries.

Neil is a Senior Director on the Ygrene commercial team and is leading the effort to further build the national C-PACE platform and drive the development of new products that serve the needs of our customers. He has significant commercial real estate finance and capital markets experience, having completed over $3 billion in total transaction volume over the last 15 years.

25 and 30 year terms are available in California and Florida depending on service area and type of improvement.

Timing of first payment depends on date of funding;
